Carol Ann Cole

Carol Ann Cole is an author, a professional speaker and the founder of a national fund-raiser. The Comfort Heart Initiative has raised over one million dollars for cancer research with over 228,000 Comfort Hearts in the hands of Canadians and people around the world.

Dr. Lovell Allan Jones

Dr. Lovell Allan Jones received his doctorate in 1977 in the field of zoology with an emphasis in endocrinology and tumor biology from the University of California, Berkeley. During his training Dr. Jones was a National Institutes of Health (NIH) pre-doctoral trainee and a Ford Foundation Fellow at the UC Berkeley's Cancer Research Laboratory.

Ronnie Kaye

Ronnie Kaye is a psychotherapist practicing in Marina del Rey, California. Twice diagnosed and treated for breast cancer, she has made the emotional aspects of life-threatening illness a major focus of her work. Her book, Spinning Straw Into Gold, based on both her personal and professional experiences, begins with the breast cancer diagnosis and guides women through the many steps to emotional recovery. She deals with both the practical and the spiritual aspects of healing and shows how to use crisis as a springboard to personal growth.

Dr. Annie J. Sasco

Annie J. Sasco is an MD PhD who is currently team leader of Epidemiology for Cancer Prevention in an Inserm (NIH) research unit at the medical school of the Victor Segalen Bordeaux 2 University in France. After having been trained in the Bordeaux medical school, she went to Harvard where she got two masters and a doctoral degree in epidemiology, being for a while teaching fellow of Harvard University.

Ingrid Kössler

As a breast cancer survivor, Ingrid is inspiring others with cancer to assume a hopeful outlook and meaningful life. She currently serves as President of the Swedish Breast Cancer Association (Brostcancerforeningarnas Riksorganisation-BRO), a post she has held since 2001. Ingrid is also since 2006 the President of EUROPA DONNA, board member of the Swedish Cancer Society and member of the Economic and Social Committee of the European Union.

Dr. Jeff Dunn

Professor Jeff Dunn is the Chief Executive Officer of The Cancer Council Queensland, a long standing and high profile not for profit organisation in Australia. He holds Professorial appointments with the University of QueenslandÕs Faculty of Social and Behavioural Science and James Cook University's Faculty of Public Health, Tropical Medicine and Rehabilitation Sciences. Jeff maintains a particular interest in supportive care for cancer patients and is actively involved in research in this field. Jeff publishes in the area and is frequently invited as a speaker to national and international events, and meetings and conferences.
