The World Conference on Breast Cancer Foundation is governed by a voluntary Board of Directors. The Board is comprised of breast cancer survivors, health researchers, breast care advocates, and community representatives from Ontario, Manitoba, Alberta and Nova Scotia who are knowledgeable in breast cancer issues. The Foundation Board directs conference planning activities through international networking, sponsor relationships, and event planning contractors.
Dr. Susan Keller-Olaman
Dr. Sue Keller-Olaman is a research consultant based in Hamilton Ontario. Sue also holds an adjunct position at McMaster University (Health Aging and Society). Sue is from New Zealand and completed her doctoral research in Psychology and Preventive and Social Medicine.
After teaching at Otago University (Dunedin, New Zealand), Sue moved to Canada in 2002 to work at the McMaster Institute of Environment and Health (McMaster University). Sue has since worked for the Ontario Breast Cancer Community Research Initiative, Ontario Breast Cancer Exchange Partnership and Public Health Services (Hamilton). Sue now works as a research consultant with the majority of her work linked to cancer. Her research interests include: cancer information and support, environment-health relationships, health promotion, public health and program evaluation. Sue enjoys many outdoor activities and is the mother of busy four-year old twins.
