WCBCF Youth Day 2008

WCBCF Youth Day - Hope for Tomorrow!
A fun filled day for Youths 15 years of age and older!

-Funded by the generous support of the
Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation - Prairies/NWT Region

At the heart of the 5th World Conference on Breast Cancer, is the very first Youth Day. Over 100 youths will come together to participate, learn and bring back valuable knowledge to their family, friends and communities.

As the next generation, youth are one of the most important pieces to the breast cancer puzzle. Around the world, people of all ages, races and genders are joining hands to bring a cure and reduce the risk. This is your chance to be informed on the many things that you can do to help, inform and understand why this fight is so important.

Through interactive games, activities, displays and presentations, participants will learn all about breast health and risk reduction. We will also talk about genetics, the environment and ways that youths can get involved in the fight against breast cancer.
It will be a fun day for all and most importantly - a great way to learn and be involved.
